Peanut Butter Silk Pie

Desserts are great, but most of us either don't have the free time to make them or just dislike baking in general so we tend to buy premade desserts or skip them all together. Today's recipe, Peanut Butter Silk Pie, is a no-bake dessert that uses a premade crust to hold a sweet and creamy peanut butter filling so delicious no one can deny a slice, or two! There are no special ingredients or super specific measurements, making this dessert as simple as possible for anyone to make in about 10 minutes. If you have a sweet tooth, but hate to bake, this dessert is perfect for you...Let's Get Cooking!

Begin by beating the peanut butter, softened cream cheese, and confectioners' sugar until smooth. Use an electric mixer or stand mixer and keep things simple and easy!

Gently fold in one container of thawed whipped topping with the peanut butter mixture being careful to keep it light and fluffy.

Now, you could get fancy and make a crust from scratch or continue with the lazy, simple method and use a premade graham cracker crust. I bought mine of course, but you do you! Pour the mixture into the crust and refrigerate it for at least 2 hours or so to set up and become firm.

Once the Peanut Butter Silk Pie has had time to firm up in the refrigerator, you can slice and serve it as you wish. You can top it with additional chopped peanuts, chocolate syrup, caramel, and/or additional whipped cream. The options are limitless so get creative and make the most delicious piece of silky pie you can imagine!

Can you believe how wonderful this dessert is to only take a few minutes to put together then chill in the fridge? The best part is that it is not overly sweet or indulgent, like other similar desserts or sweets like you may imagine. The peanut butter itself adds almost a savory aspect to the whipped topping so really most of the sweetness is coming from toppings you may or may not add for serving. The cream cheese thickens it up to a light cheesecake consistency meaning this dessert is just as good as anything you might buy in the store! I'm not a huge dessert person myself, but this Peanut Butter Silk Pie is absolutely delicious and I highly recommend it so spend a few minutes and whip one up for yourself....Just Keep Cooking!
